Damon Braces
Damon braces are the state-of-the-art in orthodontic appliances and the type of braces most commonly recommended and used by Dr. Johnson.Damon braces were invented by Dr. Dwight Damon. Dr. Johnson has known Dr. Damon for over 20 years and has watched the entire evolution of the Damon System from its inception. Damon braces utilize sliding-door technology known as “self-ligation” that allows the wire to slide back and forth more easily within the braces. No elastics or steel ties are used with Damon braces. This technology creates less friction and results in greater comfort for patients.
